The CAHR Board of Directors, together with the co-chairs of the 31st Canadian Conference on HIV/AIDS Research (CAHR 2022), have made the unfortunate decision to transition the meeting to a virtual format. The rapid spread of the Omicron variant has shown once again that the threat of the COVID-19 pandemic is not over, and that planning for an in-person Conference in the coming months is fraught with too much uncertainty and risk.
The health and safety of our members and conference delegates is a top priority, and as such, CAHR 2022 will be held virtually.
Further information will be made available shortly on abstracts, the format of oral presentations and virtual posters, registration fees, refunds, etc. Please follow the CAHR Conference website, and watch for email updates in the coming weeks.
Thank you for your continued understanding and patience during these challenging times.
CAHR 2022 Virtual
Virtual conference participants at CAHR 2022 will enjoy all the activities that make the CAHR Conference an engaging learning experience including: plenary sessions; special sessions on a wide variety of topics; oral abstracts and poster viewings; and opportunities to converse and network with colleagues and friends. The agenda and format are under development, and the CAHR website will be updated regularly as additional information becomes available. The CAHR Board looks forward to seeing you all virtually this spring!
