On this World AIDS Day, CAHR remembers the millions who lost their lives, offers its support and compassion for those living with HIV, and recognizes the ongoing dedication and accomplishments of Canadian researchers from across all HIV research disciplines and communities.
In 2024, CAHR was honoured to receive funding from the Public Health Agency of Canada to support the delivery of the Canada Pavilion at the 25th International AIDS Conference (AIDS 2024) in Munich, Germany. The opportunity allowed Canadian researchers, those living with HIV, and those working in front line organizations to share Canadian best practices, highlight effective interventions and achievements to address HIV, as well as showcase community innovation and the community-based response to HIV in Canada. This coming week, we will share impact stories from members of the Canada Pavilion team as they reflect upon their time at the conference. Visit https://www.aidscanada.ca/ for more information.
CAHR is also pleased to be a partner on the CANFAR led 2024 World AIDS Day campaign with other like-minded organization who are truly making a difference. See the bilingual materials available now at: https://canfar.com/world-aids-day-2024/
