CAHR 2025 will take place at the Halifax Convention Centre (HCC), in Halifax, Nova Scotia. HCC is the main conference centre in Halifax, and it is conveniently located just a 30-minute drive from the Halifax Stanfield Airport.

Hotel
The Sutton Place Hotel Halifax is the official conference hotel. CAHR has negotiated special discounted room rates starting at $239 (plus taxes) per room per night.

- You must attend CAHR 2025 to obtain the discounted rate; the conference secretariat has the right to cancel any reservations that are deemed to be fraudulent.
- The Conference group rate at the Sutton Place Hotel Halifax is available until Saturday, March 29, 2025 (subject to availability)
- The group rates are valid from April 28 – May 7, subject to availability.
- Cancellations can be made up until 48 hours before arrival without penalty. No show reservations will be charged one night’s room and tax.

How to get to the Halifax Convention Centre
The Halifax Convention Centre is located approximately 30 minutes from the Halifax Stanfield airport.
Airport to the Halifax Convention Centre
- By Car:
Taxis and airport car services are available curbside in the Arrivals area. To travel from the airport to downtown Halifax you can expect to pay roughly $60-$70
Vehicle rentals are located on the lower level of the airport parkade
Uber ride sharing is also available from the airport and can be booked using the Uber app.
- By Bus:
Halifax Transit offers a limited-stop Regional Express route (Bus 230) linking Halifax International Airport to downtown Halifax.
The Halifax Conference Centre (HCC) is situated only 500m from the final stop coming from the airport (Scotia Square Stop).
